July 14, 2016

In light of the circulating issues regarding the Armed Forces of the Philippines' declaration of "Red Alert' following an international court ruling on Philippines’ maritime case against China, the Department of National Defense (DND) through Usec Ricardo A. David, Jr. said that there is no such issued alert status.

The circulated text messages mentioned a certain Gen. David as the source of the hoax. Quoted below is the exact text message circulating on Facebook:

"An Urgent Prayer Request 2 d body of Christ: Forwarded FROM GERERAL DAVID. "sabihin sa mga pastors mgpray pra sa bansa. Red Alert ngayon sa AFP gawa ng galit ang China. Maingay ngayon dto sa Clark dahil landing ng mga gamit pandigma frm France, USA, JAPAN at Australia pra tumolong kung sakali gumera ang china at arab country. Pls. pray po tayo... Kindly inform all leaders & intercessors.. Txt from Ptr. Jun pangilinan.. Let us unite in prayers pls. pass."

Update:ALARMING! China Insist and will Enforce Their "Right"!!! Click here to read

Gen.Ricardo David Jr.

There is no need to panic on this disinformation. Usec.David said, "The text is a hoax and I would like to assure everyone that there is no cause for alarm.” .

While it is true that China declared a "Red Alert" status 5 days ago, this is not in relation to the South China Sea Issue, rather was about typhoon Nepartak. The China's State Oceanic Administration (SOA) is warning people that heavy havoc can be expected due to the typhoon.

To negate the insensitive report concocted by irresponsible minds, please SHARE this article. This will be a relief for our worried countrymen.
